Add support for in-place edits as well as interjection (similar to Cursor)

I should be able to:

• alter my sent prompts irrespective of the network or model state (e.g. thinking, responding)
• send new prompts irrespective of the model state (e.g. thinking, responding)

Pretty critical to correctly mimick human interactions.

YES! I've wanted this myself! Thank you for bringing it up

I was thinking it might be useful to add two new states to the Chat box

• queued - a message to send as soon as control returns to the user
• interjection - immediately stop task execution (as if the user hit "cancel") and send a new message

I built a little prototype. Here I hit "alt + enter" which interjects (cancel + send), then queue up a normal queued message by hitting just enter:
