Cannot override DataGrid.FontSize!

Hi all, I'm new to this. I'd like to say thanks for your hard work - it's impressive!

I'm trying to change the DataGrid font size, I've tried about 3 approaches and none will work.

I can override something in the App.xaml file, but then it loses the rest of the theming!

What I expect to do is just be able to set the FontSize property likes this:

But that doesn't work, RowStyle doesn't work, and the resources solution doesn't wortk either.

This is a bug, right?

After a week of research and testing different things, I found a fix:
