Describe the bug

If you open any transform or pattern UI and then select the body, the entire object is selected in object mode.

However, if you select a face or edge first and then hit the transform button, the transform tries to apply to that selection, which isn’t supported.

Ideally, pressing the transform button should always reset the selection to the whole body.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Select a face or edge
2. Open the transform or pattern UI.
3. Transform tries to apply to the selection, which is not supported.

Expected Behavior

Selection should always reset to the whole body when the transform or pattern button is pressed, preventing unsupported operations.
