Same issue. Using CC2652P (20221226) coordinatior, zigbee2mqtt 1.32.1. In my case, the sensor is routed through a Tuya plug. |

As far as I find out, the sensor keeps sending data every minute. |

interesting, I'm seeing the battery/lqi update every 5 min based on the HA stats I'm going to rebuild my z2m mesh this weekend by changing the key and re-adding each router device in place starting from the closest to the coordinator working outwards |

In z2m the Min rep interval is set to 3600 for both batteryPercentageRemaining and batteryVoltage for my sensors I see a lot going on in the logs looking specifically at 1 sensor |

I bit the bullet and rebuilt my z2m network yesterday by generating a new network key and re-adding all devices. I didn't specify which routers the battery powered devices connected to and just used permit all for everything. Routers first, starting from closest to the coordinator working outwards then the battery devices. But, the logs are showing that they aren't sending commandStatusChangeNotification constantly anymore. Below are all the logs relating to 1 sensor over the last 2 hours. Think I should still disable the battery reporting? I'd still like to know when they're getting low... would setting the min rep interval to a days worth of seconds make a difference? |

I've only recently gotten started with z2m after being on home assistant with a mixture of random switches and lights for years.
Everything was straight forward to setup in z2m and migrating my hue devices to my SONOFF ZBDongle-E was simple, in hindsight I suppose I should have gotten the ZBDongle-P.
I got a couple Third Reality 3RTHS24BZ temp/humid sensors to trigger my AC, no issues at all. (batteries still report 100%)
Then I bought 3 TuYa TS0202_2 motion sensors to trigger turning on my hall light and bathroom.
They work great, and I was drawn to these because they also have a button which I use to manually trigger the lights during the day when I disable the motion triggers in HA.
The issue I'm having is they are huge battery drainers, they use a CR2023 coin cell. At first I thought it was because the batteries they came with were old, so I bought some new ones from home depot. After a week one of the sensors stopped responding to button clicks and then the next day was offline. I replaced the batteries again two days ago but they've already drained down to 50%
Reading up, I looked into potential issues and noticed in my Map page that they're all only connected to my Coordinator, even though there is a hue bulb "hall light" a few feet away from them. I tried removing them through z2m and then re-pairing them with Permit join only set on the hall light, I put them into pairing mode any they were flashing to indicate pairing mode. They refused to pair this way, I removed the batteries and held the button again and held them up a few inches away from the light but still no go. Eventually I used permit join all and they reconnected quickly to the ZBDongle-E.
I appreciate the time anyone takes to read through this and am happy to provide any additional info needed. I'm sure logs would be useful but I'm not sure which logs to post. Should I try re-pairing again and post the log from z2m debug?
