In Phoscon/Deconz, I can bind the on/off buttons on my IKEA Tradfri E1743 remote to different lights. As an example: pressing ON on the remote on my bedside table would toggle the light in the bedroom on/off, whereas pressing OFF on the same remote would turn off all the lights in my apartment.
