How can I push a new branch?

Hi!
I created a little change related to SONOFF TRVZB to move the schedules json from state to an attribute of the sensor fixing the issue related to the schedules truncated but I'm not able to push my branch.
I read the doc, but I didn't see any special branch to use except start any change from dev.
What am I missing?

I forked the repository and created a PR from my repo to this one. No idea if it's the common approach.
