On Mac, file selection dialogs only open if tyTools executables are at root of Applications folder

I have tried putting the executables in a subfolder in the Applications folder, and that results in the file selection dialogs (in my case, firmware hex files) do not open in that case.

Moving the executables to the Applications folder directly resolves the issue.

This looks like it could be fixed by signing the app, but I'm not in the Apple Developer Program right now.

I'll soon make a signed release, but I don't have a Mac machine. At least, not one that can run macOS 12 or more recent :) I will borrow one, make some tests and make a new release soon, hopefully this week.

I'm not sure if I have the same issue, but the symptoms are the same for me; no file upload dialog. The app is in the Application folder and have been trusted.

Any progress on getting it properly signed?

In the meantime I run:

/Applications/tycmd upload ~/Downloads/M8Firmware/M8_V6_5_1G_MODEL02.hex
