Public APIs

I was wondering about the possibility of public apis to get data and integration.

Is there some backend available today that this could be done without changing too much the solution architecture?

Unfortunately, there is no API at this moment for getting data and adding integrations. All the data is stored locally on the user's device in SQLite database. For now, the only option to get data from the app (except of manually reading the DB file) is to export data on the Settings -> Import/Export page.

Do you mean a publicly available REST API for doing it or any sort of a local API (on the user's device) for communication within the same device?

I mean REST API. I could consume it using any language and do anything with the data. But I understand now that the data is stored locally, so it's not possible.

Anywise, I thing the option of exporting the data could be enough for now if I can open it and see the data externally (like a json file for example). I want to use it to do some comparasion using Python.
