At least 3 things need to happen before this can be done with backward compatibility

• the Drag icon in the corner bug
• The title form area control / rewrite
• Zero chrome, but still respect the form title height bug / request

A question on the point that this will be based on the 365 themes.
Will this new theme be verified & modified where necessary to make sure that all settings become accessible in PDesigner.
In other words that this new version will be a sanitised version of 365 to get a clean start?

Being Material, they won't use all colors of the BaseScheme since there ideally aren't any borders, for example.
Technically they're as editable as any other MS365Base-derived theme (though the Renderer is currently derived from RenderOffice2010); I'm looking into what the consequences would be to derive it from RenderMicrosoft365.

The light one's scheme is a copy of the Blue theme and the dark one of the Black (Dark Alternative), I think, but you could just copy over them any other base scheme file.
What is the hardest parts are the renderers and the base palette. I'm just at a point, that the borders are mostly gone from buttons, for example. More details need to follow, like images etc.
But as a foundation I think this is something we can work on - and not have to re-invent the wheel to write a completely new base palette.
