Add custom texture for fluid bucket item

How do I add a custom texture to a fluids bucketitem?
I've tried using bucketItem.texture but it doesn't seem to work?

event.create("custom_fluid").bucketItem.texture("kubejs:item/custom_bucket")

Any help is appreciated
