I didn't understand everything, but you can access your OS's keyboard settings with Settings → Form filling → Device Keyboard Settings |

My Magickey keyboard went away but KeePassDX said it's OK. After a bit of searching ccamdroid had decided to force disable it.
You'll have to find and maybe fight the settings Keyboard list and default I can search for it ssssslowly on the phone but too many characters break it's fragile mind. Once you find it you can select the slider to reactivate. I am not sure KeepassDX did this. I think it's more Scamscumy excellence possibly triggered in someway but deigning to install a keyboard. So far it's been stable and I do not blame KeePassDX as I've had other issues with the this phones software updates breaking stuff.
KeePassDX 4.2.3 build Libre
Samscum Galaxy A71
Android 13
Downloaded via F-Droid
