can you make it so when it search for item mod for resistance make it use weight sum on elemental resistance?

make it so there's option to search for all the elemental resistance and not specific resistance. so the search result might be a little bit more accurate than specific resistance

like in this picture instead of searching for 30 fire and 25 cold i'm searching for 55 all elemental resistance (if it on poe1 there's psuedo mod for all elemental resistance in poe2 I have to use weight sum instead.)

Already exists, either use the pseudo button to open in trade site, or log in using the builtin browser and enable pseudo in settings

You can use the Pseudo button instead which will open it in browser if you have pseudo disabled in settings. You will run into the complexity limit regardless if i am using weighted sum

When I try to look up the value of an item with
#% to Cold Resistance 31 and
#% to Fire Resistance 26,
it searches like the image below.

The idea is to remove the red asterisk query and make the search work. This way, the server shouldn't reject it.

Separately, Does it currently not fill in the weights? I may need to fix it if it isn't

For if I can remove them, maybe. . . But it is difficult. I also need to look at adding in the "ele and chaos" filters which will add back 3 and I can't remove the all ele. This would leave the total kinda unchanged.

I could look at doing this slightly more efficiently, and do by basetype, like rings would use the implicits but boots wouldn't, for example. I may look into this but since I don't think it would get the query to be under the threshold for anon api request, I'm probably going to not for now

That's right. Currently, ee2 is filling in the weights. I believe the weights also contribute to increasing query complexity.

To reiterate, the purpose of using ee2 is to quickly determine the value of my current items. Since poe2 field drops don't include ele + chaos, it doesn't seem like a consideration.
While crafted items have this option, how about separating these three options—cold + chaos, fire + chaos, light + chaos—into distinct queries for searching?
Also, how about separating all ele for separate searches? Not meaning to delete them...
