Linux - EE forcing PoE2 out of priority

I am running PoE2 through stream.
when i run Exiled Exchange (AppImage) with PoE2, the taskbar sits over the game screen and constantly forces EE into priority over the game itself.

The game is unresponsive. if i click on the game screen i regain control for a split second, then the taskbar appears again, EE is forced back into priority and i lose control of the game again.

this has made the game unable to be played. need a hand resolving.

the game is being played in Windowed Borderless. the wmctrl -l command doesn't show Exiled Exchange as a top level window, but it is still sitting above the game window and preventing the game from being played.

Same issue here. It was working, and then I think it auto updated. Now even trying older versions with --no-updates on still doesn't work.

Figured out that if you press shift+space TWICE while the screen is flickering it will restore the game back to priority, and you will need to do this any time you mouse out of the game and back into it.

Super weird because it was working fine and just randomly stopped.
