Disable caching for ImageStrip images if needed (toggle)

Hi,
i wrote some scripts that generate Images for the ImageStrip widget and they get updated every few minutes with new data. Unfortunately when i update the images in the AppData folder (C:\Users\abc\AppData\Roaming\exiled-exchange-2\apt-data\files) they only change after restarting EE2. It would be great if we were able to get some kind of way to disable caching or get an automatic refresh on images after x amount of time.
