On new installation of the plugin in Moodle 3.9, an installation error occurs which leads to issue #119.
Note: All of the below steps are performed by Administrator role.

The first error received on installation is:

On clicking Continue, the following errors are show for a while

The plugin is shown as installed in the list at Site Administration -> Plugins -> Plugins Overview.

Clicking on 'Add a block' from the left hand panel, shows Course Request Manager in the list. Selecting it brings another pop-up error message

Closing above pop-up and selecting continue on the page, adds Course Request Manager block on the page but it is not shown as it should be for the Admin. It is
