Is there any way to dynamically register a snippet from an autocmd?

Hi! I would like for a snippet to be available when an autocmd triggers (i.e. not based on filetype), and to be available for the current buffer only. Is that possible to achieve?

It's easier to set it in an special ft, and to change your ft with an autocmd, you can have many ft in a single file if you split them by a . .
Like you can use html.jinja for instance.

I could try that. My use case btw is that I want to create snippets for Cargo.toml files, and not have those snippets show up in any other .toml files.

Oh, in that case you can also do

vim.filetype.add({
	filename = {
		["Cargo.toml"] = "toml.cargo-toml"
	}
})

and then register your snippets under cargo-toml

Thank you for the advice! However, I tried adding this to my config, but the snippet doesn't show up in Cargo.toml files:

I have similarly defined snippets for other filetypes like Lua and Markdown, and they work just fine.

Well, your code is correct, I just tested it myself and it works fine.

I found the issue. I lazy load LuaSnip on InsertEnter, which included the vim.filetype.add code. Not lazy loading vim.filetype.add solved the issue. Thanks for your help!
