Edge manager cannot handle delimiters longer than one character #234
Description
Bug Description
The Edge manager in topological navigation currently cannot handle delimiters (column delimiters) that are longer than one single character. This affects edge names and mode names.
Impact
- Blocks testing at Driscoll's and any longer tunnel environment
- Affects edge names and mode names that use multi-character delimiters
- Prevents use of more descriptive naming schemes
Immediate Fix Required
Fix to handle multi-character delimiters for:
- Edge names
- Node names
URGENT: Needed for Rise Home testing
Mid-term Enhancement
Change topological navigation to not rely on specific naming schemes. Instead, use semantic annotations of edges and nodes as designed in the property system. see #215
