Unlocking windows does not resume whkd

Since version 0.1.32, I have noticed that when windows is unlocked, whkd does not receive keypresses. The only way to get it to work is to komorebic stop --whkd and komorebic start --whkd. This was working fine in 0.1.31.

Do I need to make any config changes?

I have noticed this as well after waking my computer. It's almost like whkd stopped or crashed.

I think this confirms that the hooks are unregistered on sleep/lock and is only present in whkd 0.2.3+

This issue stems from the underlying win-hotkeys crate. While the hook remains registered, the Win and L key-up events from the Win + L keypress do not reach the hook. As a result, the hook incorrectly reports that these keys are still pressed.
