Problem with dependencies

Hello folks,

unfortunately I am not very fit with git, bash, etc. and therefore can not make any rhyme to this error message.

$ ./run.sh
Checking and ensuring dependencies
sed: can't read /etc/os-release: No such file or directory
Unable to determine package manager: Unsupported distros
Dependencies: an error has occurred, exit

It would be great if someone could help me.
