Node-Locked model in offline mode

I'm using Node-Locked model in online mode and it works like a charm.
While downloading Offline file, however, the following message is shown:

Note: Offline validation file doesn’t support metered licensing models such as Floating, Node-Locked and Pay-per-Use.

I'm wondering how to use this licensing model with the offline file option, as some of my customers won't be having internet connection.

Indeed, the standard use-case for Node-Locked licensing model is online validation, where particular device/node/machine (identified by unique fingerprint) is automatically paired with the customer identifier.
Having the above any further use on the not authorized node isn't possible, without releasing this lock by the vendor.

Node-Locking can be implemented by assigning a unique ID to one of the License(-s) as custom property/tag. This field will be returned with the validation response and need to be verified in your application.

Please follow the steps:

• (first use or installation) generate a unique device ID / fingerprint by means of your technology stack
• obtain the generated ID and set as a custom property on "Tags" tab of the chosen License
• download Offline licensing file using the signed API key

• resulting licensing XML file needs to be delivered and installed on customer's device
• (while using the product) load and parse above offline licensing file as well as verify XML signature; compare stored fingerprint with the device ID
