[Epic] Known issues in Backpack v7 Beta

Bugs & Quicks

Here's a list of all the issues we are aware of in Backpack v7, but haven't taken the steps to fix. We aim to fix all of them before the Public Beta launch, but we've noted them here to not get distracted by small things that might take a lot to fix:

Datatable

• 🔵 how does someone make the Add button point to a form where the parent entry is already selected?

Datagrid & Datalist

• 🟡 you can use editable column inside them... but they won't work; they throw a JS error;
• 🟡 if you have tabs configured in your CrudController... these components will not show them; but... should they?!

Dataform

• when you have multiple forms per page, submit one form and validation kicks in... you are redirected to a page where ALL forms show ALL validation errors (even if they don't have the field that has errored);
• when you open a page with a dataform, it scrolls to it immediately; we should have a way to disable focusOnFirstField and default to not scrolling to it;
• when you have multiple forms per page, and they have the same field (eg. name) and one of the forms fails at field validation... the other fields with the same name will NOT get pre-populated with their value any more (see New-in-v7 examples for the Update operation);

Theme-tabler

• 🔴 buttons have a weird hover color - most times same as the background; see video;
• 🟡 CRUD subtitle links (eg. "reset" and "back to list") don't look clickable because they're not purple; see video;
• 🟡 hover on table headings makes those cells have a boxshadow or border which makes the UI feel unpolished; see video;
• 🔴 progress widgets no longer show progress color, nor bookmark; see video;
• 🟡 on horizontal-overlap layout, there's a weird padding to left and right of the screen; see video; same thing happens on vertical layout; screenshot here;
• 🔴 LogManager used to show color-coded errors, now they're all just white text on white background; see video;
• vertical transparent layout leaves a border or shadow from the top menu, which looks weird; screenshot here;
• vertical transparent layout - menu items look "disabled" because of the bkg color; screenshot here;
• links inside the DataTable don't look clickable, because they're the same color as normal text; video here;
• everything is much more rounded-corner in the new Tabler version, but our DataTable component is quire square-cornered still; screenshot here;

Demo

• filemanager doesn't load at all; i get a blank page on that URL; (should use the clean-unused-files branch)
• article list throws 500 error; (fixed in: Fix hooks at setup level #5818)
• editable columns do not work is Show operation (throw JS error); (fixed in https://github.com/Laravel-Backpack/editable-columns/pull/103)
• themepicker modal does not show in CoreUIv2 and CoreUIv4;
• translation manager inline editing does not properly refresh; (fixed in https://github.com/Laravel-Backpack/editable-columns/pull/103)
