CRUD::setFromDb() in setupCreateOperation()

command php artisan backpack:crud slider creates app/Http/Controllers/Admin/SliderCrudController.php where in setupListOperation() and in setupCreateOperation() I can see CRUD::setFromDb(), but I dont' see anywhere in documentations explanation of this function
