What do you mean by "make API"? What do you mean by "this extension"? When asking questions, please try to be precise. If people can't understand your question, they can't point you in the right direction.

I'll give it a shot in the dark, though: Backpack doesn't help you build APIs. Backpack helps you build admin panels for your Eloquent models. If you want to build APIs for those Eloquent models, to consume them in a SPA or mobile app, there are many solutions out there, that have nothing to do with Backpack.
