Product and Product Images (1-n)

Having 2 tables:
products and product_images

And using Backpack 6.0 (Theme Tabler)
How do you show under the Product the product_images?

I would like to display them as a Photo Gallery?

Hi @ibercea , can you be more specific? so we can understand more, what do you mean by photo gallery? and where do you want to show them? in your ListOperation? or custom view?

Ideally both:
Under the list maybe the first picture and then on click show gallery in a modal.
But also under Product Show would be enough.

And i mention Product Show because for Product Edit I managed to make a new field type for another purpose (showing a timeline from a config file).
But under Product Show I cannot use a new field type...

Sorry kinda late, since we talked about "gallery" it is a unique case so i think you should create your own custom views for your unique case, here's the reference https://backpackforlaravel.com/docs/6.x/crud-how-to#how-to-customize-views-for-each-crud-panel-1

you can easily copy from the backpack vendor and modify the file as you need, and instead of using views from backpack you use your own views.

I hope you get the idea, let me know if you find other issues.

@ibercea if you've already created a custom field for the gallery... you can create a custom column for it too - https://backpackforlaravel.com/docs/6.x/crud-columns#creating-a-custom-column-type-1 and then you can use that custom column both in the Show and the List operations.

In fact, in Backpack v6 we've made a point for each Field to have an associated Column. So I heavily recommend you do the same. If just makes everything a lot easier. And custom columns are A LOT easier to create than custom fields.
