Solvis Heizung DigIn error codes

Hi There,

I'm a new user of your solvis integration.

Got a couple of questions, hopefully anyone can help me.

1. Got a lot of errors via the 'Solvis Heizung DigIn error codes' entity. It constanly is changing between 'burner error' and 'Fuse power supply'. Any idea how to resolve this?

2. Is there a way i can start the heatpump or electrical heating bar (i have both) to increate the SolvisBen temperature whenever i have excess solar energy?

• which version of the integration are you running/did you install?
• which ha version? ... in which environment?
• which firmware-version of sc2/sc3?

please try updating to 2.0.0.beta.1 this is a release which is already stable, but may have some weird oversight. Your bugs should be fixed with that.
Please remove your old device from HA before upgrading.

Your SC3 could be updated: there are newer versions available (3.20.16 / 3.20.05). See https://www.solvis.de/downloads-fachkunden/regelung/

Regarding your second question:
Afaik there's no way to turn the heatpump or the electrical heating bar on or off directly. Not even in SC3. But you could switch the flow type from "curve" to "fix" and raise the corresponding flow fix temperature (day in your case).

Note: Please consider pushing the temp not too far. Otherwise the compressors live span will be remarkably shorter...

Thanks! I managed to update to 3.20.16 and almost ruined my setup :) So happy that i made a backup.

So;
Changing HKR1 fix flow mode day to 60
and
Changing ?? to Fix

Could you help met with the last one?

I think i found it, it is the

'sensor.solvis_heizung_hkr1_flow_mode' but i cannot change that via your solvis integration.

the temperatures you need to write are

The flow type (or flow mode) can be changed via

What I don't understand is, that the entity in your config seems to be named "sensor....". This should be "select....". Hmmm.
Which version are you using? Please use 2.0.0-beta.1 if possible (no fear: it's really stable)

Now I have also found your comment again in which you specified the version you used (GitHub just didn't show it to me anymore?! - very strange). In any case, you're using version 1.2.1, which is likely the cause. As already recommended: please try the current beta version. It should work as stated. And don't worry: the beta is really stable and bug-free. It has been running on my system for quite some time now without any issues.

That worked! I can now change those values. I will play around with that.

You also introduced the "Wärmepumpe Heizstab Stufe 2 & 3"
I have the electrical heating bar mounted as well, so could i enable that one in theory as well?

Unfortunately not: the heating rod cannot be directly controlled any more than the heat pump itself. At least, I am not aware of any possibility—even not via the SC3.
Since you have a heating rod, would you mind observing whether the mentioned sensor works properly and indicates the heating element's status accurately? The registers are relatively new and were added solely based on the documentation (which, unfortunately, isn't always reliable in this regard), and I was unable to test them due to the lack of a heating element in my system. So, testing and feedback would be most welcome! - Thanks in advance!
