- Canvas will be the source of truth for this class.
- All student tasks will be listed as assignments in Canvas.
- Access Canvas by going to learn.launchcode.org
- Students will be enrolled in the Canvas course.
- Instructors and TFs will be added as teachers.
- Student grades, including attendance will be recorded in Canvas.
- See grading section for how to grade.
- The Java Web Development book contains the chapters to be read, exercises, studio, and assignments.
- The book is open source, please create github issues on the github repo to provide direct feedback.
- Some starter code will be delivered by forking github repositories
- Students will turn in assignments by providing a link to their repositories
- Slack is a popular messaging tool that is used in the class.
- LaunchCode staff will send out an invitation to the Slack group specific to your class.
The online course book contains short tutorials for the students on how to use Canvas.
