Automatic expense classification hooks

Hello!

I have a concept of an automatic expense classification engine. Where would it be the best hooking point? I'm new to this project so I'm not sure if this feature should live in this repository or in beanhub-import or somewhere else.

Hey @phretor, thanks for contributing the new extractors. When you say "automatic expense classification engine", can you describe briefly how it's going to work?

Indeed beanhub-import already does some automatic beancount transaction generation work, but it's a rule based engine:

It's unclear how your automatic expense classification engine concept is going to fit into it or not without a bit more info.

That's right! I was so focused on the extractors that I wrongly assumed the classification/generation part was also in here, but now you reminded me it's part of the beanhub-import repo. I can open this issue there.

Anyway, my idea is that, with enough pre-classified transactions (e.g., examples in .bean files and regexes in the .yaml rule file), one could train a DL or LLM to learn the associations between tokens and dest_account).

The beancount project has a similar concept (smart-importer?), but it's ML based, not DL/LLM.
