Placeholder/Dummy content

Hi I'm new to contributing to lemmy-ui!
When I run lemmy and lemmy-ui locally it doesn't have any content. Is there a easy way to fill it up with dummy/placeholder content? I have trouble adding comments to my posts locally; "couldn't create comment"..
Would it be possible to run lemmy-ui locally but connect to lemmy.ml with only reading rights?
When working on front-end changes it's always nice to have real content
