In the Getting Ready section:
- Remove "which may be beyond what was tested for this lesson"
In the Downloading MarcEdit section
- Amend "It should be highlighted that MarcEdit is frequently updated and these instructions might have been tested on a slightly earlier version." to "It should be highlighted that MarcEdit is frequently updated with minor changes. It is recommended that the latest version is used, but note that this may mean there are minor differences between the current version and the versions used to test this lesson"
- Split the Mac and windows installation instructions into two sections one for Windows, one for Mac, that contain the full set of details for both, removing the current sections that mix together these paths (everything from "System requirements" up to (not including) "Running for the first time"
- Replace links to executables (win/Mac) with link to general download

- Remove mention of specific versions for download (e.g. 7.5 for windows)
- Amend "only one installation" to "only installation"
- Add instructor comment to the effect that while the Mac install is available, the software is more straightforward on Windows
In the Downloading the data section
- Remove the sentence "Go to the GitHub page to download the sample data file called marc_sample_data.mrc. Then, click the download button on the right hand side." and move the bullet pointed list of actions up to be in the place of the removed sentence (still as a bullet point list)
In the Updating MarcEdit section:
- replace "MarcEdit listserv" with "MarcEdit mailing list and user forum"
