LDAP Authentication Error – Probable Bug

We are trying to connect LibreBooking to a LDAP server for authentication. Although the values work from the command line (using ldapsearch), it seems that LibreBooking can't authenticate the LDAP users. LDAP debug mode is also turned on.

Where can I find detailed logs on what is wrong? Thank you.

There is a related "warning" though in debug mode:

I ran it through Google AI and it seems to be related.

Essentially, the PluginManager is asking, "What are the settings for authentication plugins?" but it's finding no answer in the configuration file(s) it has loaded. Because it can't find these settings, it doesn't know it's supposed to use the LDAP plugin, so the LDAP login process never even starts. This is why you see a warning, not a direct "LDAP Error."

That shouldn't be the case though because the LDAP plugin is selected in the Plugin Manager section of the GUI.

Looks like this is a known bug. Someone had the exact same issue with the Docker version - #782

Since there is no non-Docker version bug report, I will submit one.
