Lifyzer 2.0 is designed to work entirely on your device. It does not require an account and does not send personal information, scans, searches, product lookups, nutrition data, analytics, or advertising identifiers to Lifyzer or to third parties.
Lifyzer stores scan history and favorites in the app's private local storage. The bundled product catalog and any catalog file you choose to import also remain on your device. You can remove this information by deleting the app. Lifyzer does not have a server copy and cannot recover it.
Camera frames are processed on the device by Apple system frameworks to recognize barcodes and packaging text. Lifyzer does not upload or retain camera frames.
Scanning, product lookup, search, health-rating calculation, history, and favorites do not require a network connection. Lifyzer does not make product API, analytics, advertising, account, or background update requests.
If you deliberately use a system feature outside the app, such as following an App Store or support link, that system service may use the network under its own privacy policy.
The bundled catalog is derived from Open Food Facts. It contains product information, not information about Lifyzer users. Open Food Facts attribution and licensing information are included in the app.
Lifyzer does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Any material change to this policy will be published with a new last-updated date before an app version using that practice is released.
