How can I specify which GPU to use?

Hi all! I have eight GPUs and I want to use four GPUs which numbers are 4, 5, 6, 7.
I tried following methods:

• Using CUDA_VISIBLE_DEVICES:

$ CUDA_VISIBLE_DEVICES=4,5,6,7 python3 train.py

trainer = pl.Trainer(
    ...
    gpus=4, # or [0, 1, 2, 3]
    ...
)

• Not using CUDA_VISIBLE_DEVICES:

$ python3 train.py

trainer = pl.Trainer(
    ...
    gpus=[4, 5, 6, 7]
    ...
)

I tried above methods, but I'm embarrassed because the machine is only using number 4 GPU. 😂
