[Feature Request] by Area or Label - without listing specific entities

I have over 50 temperature sensors, and many of them are multiples in the same Area. (3 in the garage, 3 in the Living Room, etc).. I'd like to create a dashboard card that averages all sensors in a given room and displays that average.

Describe the solution you'd like

Would be fantastic if this integration could automatically pull the information needed based on the User providing an Area or Label (or combination of). Almost like auto-entities, just not as complex.

Describe alternatives you've considered

The only way to do this right now, that I know of, is to manually create multiple template sensors. IMO manually created template sensors a poor design. They are 'hidden' from the UI, hard to keep track of, and can cause confusion in large HA setups.

why cant we use any sensor change to start and stop duration of sampling for average. ie when a function starts and ends is the span i want to now the average.
