How to run composer update command?

Been awhile since I looked at my Live Helper version because it was functioning so well and noticed I needed an upgrade 3.70 to 4.52 and followed all the steps in the upgrade instructions. When I got to step 6 I got stumped as there is no composer install or composer update file to call in the browser in the new master files. How am I supposed to upgrade composer as per this line: Overwrite composer.json and composer.lock files and run composer install or composer update command. Tried these: livehelper/index.php/site_admin/composer/update and livehelper/index.php/site_admin/system/update. What am I missing, the instructions are a little vague?

Update: Noticed this error in my error log: [23-Feb-2025 17:28:23 UTC] PHP Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required 'lib/vendor/autoload.php' (include_path='.:/opt/cpanel/ea-php74/root/usr/share/pear') in /home/username/public_html/livehelper/index.php on line 30

Looked in the lib/vendor/ directory and autoload.php isn't there.

Because you don't have composer dependencies installed. Composer.phar aka composer you can get from.

Or you can download just release version with dependencies installed already.

I'll publish new version tomorrow if you can wait :)

Hey thanks for the quick reply. I realized this after more troubleshooting, but I assumed because the previous version (3.70) worked like a charm they were already there.

After re-installing my backup, I downloaded the 4.52 version with the dependencies and followed the update docs again but I am still seeing a lot of issues like 403 errors, so I set debug to true.

I also am not familiar with the term secret hash so I had to use AI to help with that to create a 80 character secret hash but when I try to find where the export hash is set (System configuration > Live Help configuration > Chat configuration > Misc > Chats export secret hash) I keep getting 403 errors.

I also added the site location details in the settings.ini.php file near the top right after the secret hash. When I am able to login to the dashboard without a 403 error I see that the changes in green with the exception of the export hash.

That has nothing to do with your issues... Check that you have 8.2 or higher php version. Also read docs how to debug...

Yes I have php 8.2. I have tried to upgrade twice now with the same results.

Intermittent 403 errors on certain pages in the dashboard.

Even tried a fresh install and got a 403 right away and couldn't install so went back to my previous version which is 3.70 with no issues so I will stay there for now.

I guess my server doesn't like something about composer or something else in the new version.

I also tried disabling my ConfigServer Security and Firewall, ConfigServer Exploit Scanner, Modsecurity, and ImunifyAV.

Still wouldn't install and I didn't see anything in the apache logs which would indicate why.
