How to hide operator name

Hello. We would like to hide the operator name so that the web visitor does not see it anywhere. I only managed to change to white the color of the text in the operator title but it can also be seen in the "XXX is writing..." message. Ideally we would like the visitor to see a standard name for the bot, not the agent name.

Hi,
In user account there is chat nickname field where you can enter nick which will be visible for visitor.

This would not work because then in the chat windows as seen from the Admin system one cannot see the name of the agent who sent each message. The change should only apply to what the visitor sees.

You always can see who is the chat owner in right chat panel.

I'll think about adding at least title to operator message with real operator name and surname as I ques that what you want :)

yes but there might be other messages from other operators in the same chat, not just the current owner. If there is no other solution perhaps I can try to change the ajax response to the web client. Can you help me find the file where this can be changed? Or some other idea?

Just update to the most recent commits from master branch and you will see something like this

P.s if you move mouse over operator icon you will see user_id who wrote a message for quick track back :)
P.s.s there will be separate permission also to see this data 'lhchat','see_operator_name'

Ok thanks. I appreciate you trying to help. The customer need was solved by a small change in modules/lhwidgetrestapi/fetchmessages.php to not show the agent name.
It would still be great to have a setting to hide operator profile in the Operator messages style section of the widget config.

You could have just used widget themes snd set message style do not show operator name and use alias as nick. Now ai think you just made kernel changes without actually needing to change it 😃

I can't find this "do not show operator name" in Message style. Is this a recent change? It is very difficult for me to upgrade because of PHP version. But I have a newer one on 4.51 and do not see it.

no, it's in widget themes, message style tab. Choose there show bubble style messages :)

Ok i see it, but the tooltip on the icon still reveals the operator name. And the change I had to make to the code was to remove the name from the "is typing now..." message

As I told you just had to use alias in operator account :)
