Error: Failed to sync desktop to thread [0x000000AA] on Windows 10

I think I followed the directions correctly for installing sunshine-windows.exe (which was continuously flagged as malicious).

Then I let the service start up and I saw sunshinesvc running. However, I couldn't access the web UI or the port with Moonshine. So, I downloaded the standalone Sunshine package and attempted to run it with the default settings.

I continually get the following error with both the sunshine-windows.exe and that sunshine standalone package.

So far I've been using NVIDIA Game Stream, but wanted to see if using Sunshine would help clear up the washed out colors on my Moonshine client when using NVIDIA Game Stream.

As far as I can tell, unhooking my NexDock and using a real mouse and keyboard made this start up. Then I had to disable NVIDIA Game Stream for Sunshine to work.
