Software Encoder support of 1280x800 for Steam Deck hosting.

I have been trying to get game streaming working in Windows on the Steam Deck for several months now via various softwares and no luck. Sunshine installs, runs, and allows input before finally timing out on a lack of video signal from host, with the log stating the following:
[2023:04:12:11:51:54]: Warning: No compatible capture formats for this encoder
This leads me to believe that the Software Encoder cannot support the 1280x800 fixed resolution on the Steam Deck. I have tried various work arounds with zero luck, with the only success being VNC and the likes, which are terrible for gaming.

The use cases being streaming from the Steam Deck to my Shield TV, or one of my Firesticks while traveling as an alternative to running an obscenely long HDMI.
