Steamdeck controller emulation

I currently use a convoluted system of script to enable usbip over a vpn from my steam deck to pc to get native steamdeck controls on my host computer, it works however because I need to install usbip on the deck its removed every system update, a small price but it is an annoyance. with the addition of a ds5 mode which comes close, would It be possible for sunshine to emulate the steam deck controller so that steam recognizes it as a steam controller?

I would suggest to move to this discussion over to the inputtino repo (assuming you are Linux since you mention ds5).
