As a non-gamer, I use Sunshine as a cloud-based solution for work and entertainment.
Since the end of 2024, my internet service provider has become increasingly sensitive to upstream traffic, and I prefer not to be flagged as a high-usage user. I want the system to behave like RDP when idle, consuming minimal upstream bandwidth, so I don’t have to frequently disconnect from the stream to save data when I step away from the terminal device.
Why not just use RDP? Because I find Sunshine to be more effective. When watching videos, RDP actually consumes more bandwidth and delivers worse quality. Additionally, managing security with RDP is more challenging.

Yes, I know. I'm on an AMD 7840HS host, and even though it has 2-3 Mbps of bandwidth while idle, the RDP connection is just a few kbps.
