How do I get Sunshine to find a monitor and encoder? (source compiled .deb on Trixie). #752

Impossible to know without cmake configuration AND build logs. I'm also not sure how well Intel GPUs are supported on Linux. |

I reinstalled completely to get back to a blank canvas and tried the AppImage again. I then realised that the new OS is defaulting to Wayland and so I tried X11 and this worked in terms of finding a monitor and encoder to use. However, while this means I can now connect to the remote PC successfully I have no keyboard or mouse input - there was still the warning that a sudo command was required but it said this didn't apply to the .AppImage version? A restart of Sunshine stopped any errors from displaying, but there's still no mouse/keyboard input working. |

Thanks for the links, however if I read them right they say the commands aren't applicable to the AppImage version and to check the AppImage section for help, however the only information I see in the AppImage section relates to installing/running the AppImage. The webUI does tell me I should run the "sudo setcap -r |

Hi,
I recently got an arc B580 which refuses to run under Debian 12 (even with backports kernel/mesa) but does work under 13 Trixie RC1.
I couldn't get the released .deb/appimage files to work under Trixie so I compiled from source (cuda disabled), this was successful and Sunshine was able to install from the new .deb file, launch and load the web UI.
Once logged in the web UI found three errors, one which required a sudo command to enable KVS and the other two said there was no monitor or encoder found.
After doing the sudo command and restarting Sunshine, now when it attempts to launch the process crashes so I can't even access the web UI anymore, the final lines in the terminal scrollback relate to the no encoder and no monitor found issues.
Am I missing dependencies or....?
Thanks for any help you can give.
