I was really looking forward to using moonlight for some testing purposes on a device today and i go to try and access the localhost and i get the error in the title. so i was thinking oh ok ill just update it and so i update it and i get the same error no one else has had this so Im confused lol.

401 means you're entering your username or password incorrectly

Seems to be a Chrome issue. There should be a box asking for your user/password but its not showing up.
I tried it on Firefox and it worked.

My guesses are its either a Chrome update or Extension that broke it.
Could also be something with the Sunshine app itself. Maybe a update broke it? Try downloading a older version and see it works again.
I already uninstalled it. I only downloaded it for a test.

Hi, i get the exact same error using Brave Browser. I tried restarting the pc and deleting cookies. But that did not help. Disabling VPN services helps.

Copy the link of the error page and past it on Firefox. I box asking for user/password should appear. Have fun.

After I change to Private mode of chrome, the box shows up. Maybe some extension breaks it.
[edit], I uninstall the tunnel bear VPN extension, problem is solved. But I didn't enable VPN function at all.

Yes thanks, it was that extension that blocked the username and password prompt.
