can't get Loupedeck to connect to OBS

I have a razer stream controller x and it comes preinstalled with OBS plugin but when I open it up it says it is not connected with OBS. I have tried launching OBS then opening Loupedeck still nothing. I have the latest Loupedeck software.

I have the same controller and I am having the same problem. Honestly its making me question on my intelligence level. I understand that there is a lot of things I don't know with electronics because of taking time away from them due to raising my son or my prison sentence but that's why I am glad my youngest brother is only 17 and kids these days seem to have the knowledge of how to operate electronics at birth but even he is having issues with connecting the controller to damn near any/all of my accounts making me feel like I wasted money and possibly should have just bought the loupedeck live instead like I was originally going to do. The reason I chose this device is Because Razer is my go to brand for damn near everything gaming from my gear to my stream setup even waiting on my chair to come in but did I make the wrong decision with buying this controller over the other company's who is even the operating system for this one.?
