Installation

Windows

1. Grab the latest release from the Releases page
2. Download DeepSeekChat-windows.zip
3. Extract it somewhere nice
4. Run DeepSeekChat.exe

The app will keep itself updated automatically — you'll get a friendly notification when there's something new :3

Linux

1. Grab the latest release from the Releases page
2. Download DeepSeek_Desktop.AppImage
3. Make it executable:

   chmod +x DeepSeek_Desktop.AppImage

4. Run it:

   ./DeepSeek_Desktop.AppImage

Note: Auto-updater is currently not supported on Linux — just download the new AppImage when updates drop!

Advanced Usage

# Running it for real (disables debug shortcuts)
