GHW not opening in VSCodium (Windows 11)

I run VHDL simulations with GHDL;
The .ghw didn't open with Vaporview so I resorted to .vcd, for a while; but then GHDL is stubborn and doesn't handle array of std_logic_vector very well so they don't show up in the .vcd output (they do but are flagged as not handled - bad excuse!)
So I checked .ghw in Vaporview again:
I get the empty starter waveform window
The output view shows:

I can force open the Vaporview netlist view, but if I click on a signal the output says:

I have to apologize ...
I upgraded GHDL to the latest version (GHDL 5.1.1 (4.1.0.r775.g91725e47f.dirty) [Dunoon edition]) and it works fine.
