how to get custom config into addon

Just moved to an new House with an Weishaupt heating with an ebus Connection.

Weishaupt is not fully supported with ebusd only by an custom csv i would like to know how to move that csv into the addin. https://github.com/J0EK3R/ebusd-configuration-weishaupt/wiki

Would my issue be solved by #160 ?

Any way I can help with that issue?

Okay found it just copy the custom config to home assistant folder and set the configuration to that.

But it seems like the path and settings are n not showing up after reload of settings page

I am going to reuse the issue with a similar problem. I have a Vaillant Arotherm Plus and was able to setup the addon. Everything works perfectly but for a few entities I want a more frequent update rate. Therefore I duplicated the 08.hmu.csv to the config and adjusted it. After restarting the addon this works for roughly 3 Minutes then I get this log entry

2025-10-30 07:20:10.744 [main notice] update check: revision 25.1 available, device firmware v5-c6 1[560f] up to date, vaillant/08.hmu.csv: different version available

and it falls back to the old csv settings.

Does anyone have an idea how to either remove the old config (I do not have any idea where to look for it) or to prevent the update check?

As far as I understand it

This /config/ path is inside the addon = docker container, but there is no easy way to access this.

How can we use a custom path?
