unable to get url for ipod 3,1-(any ios 3.1.x version even when i have the ipsw files)

hello,i got an ipod touch 3 MC model that i am trying to downgrade to ios 3.1.x and i don't really care if its tethered or untethered, and i am aware of the activation issue thing that the tool tells me, i need it for a couple of things to do but i am unable to downgrade because i keep getting this error: unable to get url for ipod 3,1-and the build of the ios i want to get to, now, it's an MC model, but i have seen tethered downgrades tutorial on youtube that are like from early 2025 and that worked, but now it doesnt... i get the same error even when i try to download the ipsw file directly from the tool, is there a fix/will there be a fix for this issue and has anyone experieced this before? i would gladly take any piece of info, thank you for reading
