Hi, I have a Home Assistant installation on RPI 3B+

Until a few weeks ago I could install without any problems via the repository: https://github.com/Luligu/matterbridge-home-assistant-addon
Now, if I try to update or install from scratch this is the message:

"An unknown error occurred while trying to build the image for addon 246dd49f_matterbridge. Check supervisor logs for details (check with 'ha supervisor logs')"

The entire system worked fine with the previous update. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Not sure 100% but I guess is the Raspberry Pi 3B+.
Home Assistant OS uses I guess 32‑bit on it.
That is not supported with the current system.

Hello @Luligu, thank you for the reply.
Currently, 64-bit installations for RPI3B+ are supported: home-assistant/operating-system#4374 and RPI3 64bity users can download the current release: "haos_rpi3-64-17.0.img.xz"

Since the installation of your component is so dependent on something you download and build, it's practically impossible to stick to a specific version, with a local dump and/or backup.
Since Home Assistant still supports my architecture, I think you could consider continuing it for us RPI3 users, or at least offering us a sort of "feature freeze" version that can be installed as a offline bundle with a HAOS operating system.
Otherwise, unfortunately, I and many other users (who can't switch to other wattage-hungry and/or pricey hardware) are cut off from using your component.
Of course, the development is yours, and only you can decide whether to support us... Thank you for your work!

I agree with you and will think about how to do it... I had no intention to cut out anyone actually.

I checked again but the new images node 24 with trixie don't have armv7 anymore.
That was also the reason I removed it from the Matterbridge normal image.

One of my test setup is a Radxa rock-so device that is arm64 and costs less then 10 USD.

A "pinned" repository on the previous version of Node... with references to the image build with a previous tag?

Do you know if Hass publishes somewhere some statistics about how many setups exist with legacy devices?
Btw I guess I will turn to make a repo with a double app:

• the actual one
• the legacy one

Just don't know now how to deal with the overlay on other archs 32 bit.
