Failed to get weekly-exploration playlist

I am new to Listenbrainz, but it has been generating the weekly exploration playlists which I can see on the "Created for you" tab (not the playlists tab). I tried copying that playlists so that a Copy of the playlist appears in my playlist tab, but I still get the error. I confirmed my username is entered correctly. Have I misconfigured something, or am I misunderstanding how this is supposed to work? The API setting works but I would love to get the 50 song playlist working.

edit: reading closed threads I saw a question regarding time zone. My time zone was set in UTC on Listenbrainz. I just changed it to America/New_York which is what I set in my environment in docker compose. DO I need to wait a week for this to fix itself/update?

I'm having the same issue, I did just set it up earlier today. Running on Unraid with Docker, LISTENBRAINZ_DISCOVERY=api works and creates a playlist, it however doesn't download anything which I wanted to test (all the music it selects in API mode is available on my server). with LISTENBRAINZ_DISCOVERY=playlist I get "failed to get weekly-exploration playlist, check if ListenBrainz has generated one" I've had a listenbrainz account for over a year, I did just change the timezone to the correct one in the settings when I set this up as well, and it matches my docker timezone.

I enabled debug and get an additional field of text

I could easily have something configured wrong but it's not obvious what is going on.

I had to change my timezone back to UTC. I suspect the timezone setting is what is needed when the playlist is created

I will switch back to America/New_York to see if the chronology job works on Tuesday.

Thank you. I tried the same and it still is responding the same way sadly. I'll probably mess with it a bit more but if it doesn't work tonight, I'll probably just leave it until Tuesday with the correct timezones to see if it works then.

If the playlist exists It's most likely due to timezone differences. The playlists use the timezone you had during generation, so if you had ListenBrainz on UTC, Explo should also be set to UTC.

You can verify the container's timezone using

docker exec -it explo date

I configured the timezone to my local timezone (America/Detroit) when I set up the container. Listenbrainz at the time was on UTC. I switched Listenbrainz to to match the container after I had it running with no luck. I've tried changing listenbrainz back to UTC same results.

with 'docker exec -it explo date' I confirmed the container is on my local timezone, changing the docker to UTC does actually fix the issue, I suspect with America/Detroit set on both sides when then next playlist is created, it will work.

Now that it's working I'm getting a 403 forbidden error which was covered here: #107 | As suggested I ran 'apk add --upgrade yt-dlp" to upgrade yt-dlp, no longer getting the 403 error.

Now getting "Error parsing Opus packet header" which I thought meant it wasn't working but it seems to be working and this was covered in a few other issues and is a ffmpeg issue.

Edit: Can confirm playlist was created properly.
