Improve MDAnalysis website structure and navigation #441
Description
The MDAnalysis website needs improvements in structure and navigation to enhance usability. The left-hand menu contains redundant or outdated sections. Additionally, an Events page should be created to consolidate information about User Group Meetings (UGMs), workshops, and other community activities.
Proposed Improvements
- Refine Website Navigation & Menu
- Review and clean up the left-hand menu to improve clarity.
- Reorganize sections to ensure a logical and intuitive structure.
- Remove or update outdated links and categories.
- Introduce an Events Page
- Create a dedicated Events page.
- Include information on past and upcoming UGMs, workshops, and other community activities.
- Ensure the page is easily accessible from the main navigation menu.
- General UI/UX Improvements
- Evaluate layout consistency across pages.
- Improve readability and content accessibility.
- Ensure smooth navigation between key sections.
