Interest in GSoC 2025 - Improving ProLIF’s 2D Interaction Visualizations

Dear ProLIF GSoC Mentors,

I am excited about contributing to "Improving ProLIF's 2D Interaction Visualizations" as part of Google Summer of Code 2025. With a strong background in Python and JavaScript, I have experience in data visualization, interactive plotting , and UI development.

I would love to discuss how I can contribute to enhancing LigNetwork plots and adding 2D visualizations for interaction fingerprints (IFPs). Please guide me on how to get started!

Hi @MAliyanHQ and welcome to the MDAnalysis discussion forum.

We require prospective GSoC contributors to submit a pre-proposal as stated in our blog post and wiki page. The deadline for this was March 21st, so unfortunately we cannot follow-up with your application under GSoC this year.

However, anyone is welcome to contribute to MDAnalysis or ProLIF at any time outside of GSoC.
